Now in a big frying pan put the olive oil and heat it up. When the oil s ready put some rice grains and if it starts sizzling you can put the rest. The rice will fry pretty quickly – not more than 8 minutes, so you will have to stay there and stir it the whole time.
When the rice is done you can reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic powder. After that add the chilli peppers and continue with the stirring, so it doesn’t burn. Add the tomato paste and some water, just to be sure that the rice doesn’t burn. Add the salt. After you have stirred it up leave it to boil.
It’s finally time for the oven. Put the cover of the pan and then put the whole thing in the oven. Leave it until the liquid is absorbed by the rice. This should take around half an hour. Stir it from time to time, so it doesn’t burn.
And that’s it! Your rice is ready.
